The leaper pottery ran from 1954-1980.Sadly Eric a well loved character in Cornwall passed away in his home in St Just in 2002.
the designs are extremely eye catching with the use of bright glazes and oxides.As with celtic pottery the most desireable examples are of animals,the leaper pottery animal range is immense featuring cats hedgehogs owls rabbits bison pony's birds squirrel's, seahorses and a massive trojan war horse.Such figurative pieces of animals and sometimes people were actualy designed by Vanny Leaper, Erics wife.

The leaper pottery also produced jewellery and cufflinks also designed by Vanny leaper,below a Vanny leaper ring.
